Tompson sky+

Anybody using a tompson sky+, I have noticed it is a bit noisy when it is on (continuous noise) and it takes time to come on and the box is warm to the touch. I did not notice all these with my pace sky box. Should I be worried? Hubby always leave it on even if he is not watching sky. Thanks

Was the pace box a normal sky box (e.g. non sky+ box)?

If so the sky+ box will be nosier & a little warmer due to the internal hard drive that's built into them, it seems to depend on the make of drive used as to the amount of noise generated.
