    This just gets better,
    I just spoken to Blackhorse who said they didn't default the account until 2010 because they didn't stop persuing me until that date so it will remain on my credit file until May 2016.

    Doesn't matter when they stopped pursuing it. What matters is when YOU defaulted on the account, which was in 2007.

    Talk to the ombudsman and ask if they will write to Bullsh!tHorse now outlining your complaint.
