Find the folder(s) where these documents are stored, select them, right-click/copy. Double click on the flash drive, right click/paste.

If you do not have too many documents then it would be better to upload them to a free cloud service (eg. Google drive, Cubby, SkyDrive, Copy, Mega etc.). Some of these have very good synchronization processes that mean you do not even have to upload (copies are taken automatically).
At the minute my favorite is Cubby (with 5Gb of space for free).35, semi retired, sun, sand, sea, life is good

They're not stored in LibreOffice, they're normally by default stored in your Documents folder.
A flash drive is not suitable for back up, if that is your intention-too fragile, too subject to sudden failure, and too easily lost. Use optical media, a USB hard drive, or cloud storage. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Thanks all.

Could I please have the links to Cubby and Cloud Storage?
Cheers.
Smilies not working any more! is that just me !?:smileyheaMagenta0 -
Cloud storage is not a company, it's just the generic term for online storage.
I use Carbonite, but there are many others, and many providers offer a small amount of free storage (Skydrive, Google etc). Just Google it and you'll find lots of options. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Are any of the online storage places totally free?
If not which are the best/most reasonably priced ones?
Thanks.:smileyheaMagenta0 -
Google Drive
Microsoft SkyDrive
Box
Dropbox.
There's a few. They all offer different amounts of storage for free, and you can pay for extra.
Unless you have a big preference for one or the other, have a go at Google Drive.0 -
None are really 'free', it's just a hook to draw you in and then make you pay fo the extra space you need. How much data do you want to store? That's the point to start at.No free lunch, and no free laptop

But only if you need more than the - usually substantial - space you get with the free versions.
Usually the benefits of the paid versions are things like business collaboration, corporate personalisation, phone support, that kind of thing.0 -
