David Haye Boxing tickets

Hello,
I bought a pair of boxing tickets for Haye vs Fury back in August for 505Euros for my son's birthday. It was to be the first time we had ever attended a fight so I tried to get the best tix I could afford.
The fight was due to take place in Sept but was then moved to Feb 2014, and then was cancelled altogether.
The tickets were bought off a private German seller off of Ebay.
Because it is after 60 days Ebay won't deal with it.
Because it is after 45 days Paypal can only put a dispute against the seller but cannot enforce a refund.
I have contacted the seller by email but he has not replied.
What can I do? The event organisers asked me to go back to the point of sale....?
Many thanks for any help in this matter.

You bought the tickets off a seller on ebay, who in turn bought them from (possibly) a legitimate ticket agent. Why don't you contact the ebay seller and ask them if they will help?0

You obviously missed the OP's statement:
"I have contacted the seller by email but he has not replied."
Although ebay/PayPal isn't an area I know much about I have seen previous threads that ask how the PayPal charge was paid for, presumably to establish if there are any CCA S75 or Chargeback opportunities to get the money back.0 -
has the person got a phone number you could call rather than email?0

Get the sellers number and ring him?0

All,
A gracious thank you for all of your replies. Ebay and Paypal will not give me the phone number of the seller..which is understandable. I have been contacting the Seller's Hotmail address which I guess is his private one...
I have rang the Citizens Advice Bureau and they have informed me that both sides of the contract have been fulfilled, hence legally I do not have a leg to stand on.
I am about to send a grovelling letter to the MEN arena (event organisers) to see if I can claim face value, but an unlikely outcome. Then its Captain Crunch from the Sun newspaper.!!0
