Specsaver Complaint - need address

Hi all
I want to complain to Specsaver about the treatment I received in one of their branches. I've obviously got the address for the branch in question, but I would also like to copy the letter to someone further up the chain.

It might sound like I'm overreacting, but they gave me some really bad advice - upshot was that 2 days later I was sitting in A&E waiting for treatment on my eyes.

Anyway, I'd be grateful if anyone knows of an address I can send my complaint to. I've looked on their website but can't see anything really appropriate.

Thanks
kathy

Or call them on by phone: 0808 172 00 72 or 0115 982 3700 and ask for an address to write to?

For info, in case anyone else need it, I just called customer services, and was told that as each branch of Specsaver is a franchise, there is no central system for replying to complaints.
The branch is supposed to forward complaints to the area manager - but the customer service assistant said that they don't hold contact details for these people.
The CSA over the phone said that the best thing to do is to send an email to customerservices@specsaverdirect.com
Unfortunately, emails just bounce back, and on SS website is says that they can't receive emails yet.
    Not terribly impressed!!

Sorry to hear that - maybe you could phone the branch you went to and ask for the address of their head office?

That's a good idea. The branch is just down the road from my office, so I was planning on dropping in after work and hand delivering the letter - might as well get two birds with one stone!

Go for it. I had a similar problem to yours a almost a year ago. It was with contact lenses.

I had to write to the branch in question. All I got back was an apologetic letter which said that the staff in question would be "given more training"

I hate that "More training!" seems to be the answer to every companies problems these days.

I didn't bother to pursue it any further, though I really should have done. I use ASDA Opticians now, much cheaper and no problems to date.

Keep pushing. Hopefully you'll do better than I did.
