Undecided between M&S & Saga insurance

Time to renew car insurance, I am undecided between saga insurance for over 50's & M&S. M&S is about £9 more expensive. Also I am not sure about the motor legal protection cover as extra. Am I right to think that a comprehensive insurance should include the legal costs if necessary? Both quotes are very competitive at less than £150. Thanks

I did M&S through moneysupermarket and Saga through confused.com. I have tried esure and directline and they are not that cheap. M&S & Saga seem to be the most competive. My barclays quote comes to £188 this year with no legal protection and I only drive about 6000 miles a yr. I did the same search on Barclays online and it came to £138. Somebody did mention you get a cheaper quote if you do it online. Thanks

    YOU SAVE 15% APPROX......

when it comes to renewal dont renew and go on website again with same company and save more money...

ie more than .. i cancelled then took out imediately... reduced costs by £80 per year/ free breakdown and less excess....

Don't forget Quidco. I've just renewed and got £120 back with TSB. I can't believe the amount you can save. I renewed my home insurance too in April and got cash back in May.
