The port has changed from 110 to 995 (took a fair bit to find the info), so you need to alter the account connection properties. port 995 and .co.uk was good this morning......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

So just to recap in case others are struggling with this still as the info is damn hard to find online.
In outlook express
on account settings advanced tab
change incoming port from 110 to 995
and tick the box for This server requires a secure connection (SSL) for both incoming and outgoing
not sure about other mail programs0 -

It's not difficult to find if you look in the correct place e.g. here
Note that the servers should now be set to .com:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

hmmm...never used the mail web-based, and that page didn't come up from a google search when I looked. Also, the .com/.co.uk issue is less than clear - .com wasn't working for me, but .co.uk is...........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

I notice yahoo mail servers never automatically pulls email from externally configured pop accounts, unless you manually click it.
Their mail service is a struggle just as Marissa Mayer is.0 -
