UKPC parking ticket with wrong reg number

I received a Parking Charge Ticket on 28 Dec after parking without the visitors permit which my daughter forgot to give me on a housing estate in Borehamwood,however the ticket has the wrong reg number on it.They would no doubt have taken pictures so I don't expect to never hear from them but does anyone have any advise how to handle them.

simple, wait for NTK, which is the advice always given, and is in the newbies - "read this first" sticky thread near the top of the forum

then deal with it using the advice therein

As the reg is wrong POFA 2012 conditions are not fulfilled and keeper liability no longer applies. As you were not the driver you cannot be held liable and popla will have to cancel the ticket...if it ever comes to thar

That's true enough hoohoo - but there was a similar case on here a week or so ago with exactly the same scenario (incorrect reg number on windscreen notice) but the keeper still received a NtK later - Their argument is a simple typographical error! There will be the photographs which usually show the correct registration.

Mind you UKPC attendants don't always take the best photos - so this OP may not receive anything.

So advice as always to the OP is to wait until the NtK arrives before any contact. Make use of this time to read and digest information in Newbie thread.
