Briefly, ordered an item pre xmas, when it arrived via courier it was not my order (address on box correct but documents enclosed envelope for different person) I rang the supplying company and they were apologetic, and sent out my order the next day. when i spoke to them they advised that they would be in touch re picking up the " other" order.
My order arrived.
I have heard nothing from them re the other order. I have emailed them but nothing.
Do I quietly give up and "gain" the other order ( probably worth £20) or do I waste more time and money doing the right thing?
I sort of feel morally I should send it back but am irked that it will cause me inconvenience. ( small children. V small busy post office )
thanks

I would do nothing more but wait for their response.
Do not worry, you only have to look after the stuff for six years then it is yours.0 -
It's their job to collect it, not your job to send it back to them.
There's a set process if you want to get rid: http://www.adviceguide.org.uk/wales/consumer_w/consumer_common_problems_with_products_e/consumer_lost_found_and_uncollected_goods_e/how_to_dispose_of_left_behind_goods.htm0 -

I would send them one final e-mail asking them to arrange collection of the goods, and give them a time for collection that is convenient to you.
If you think that they are worth about £20, the retailer concerned would have paid well under this amount and they would probably end up losing money if they paid for a courier to collect so I wouldn't be surprised if they just told you to keep them.0
