Car insurance queries...

Hi,
I've just been abroad for a few months and am now looking to insure my car again...but I'll be going away again in October so:
1. If I pay monthly is it usually easy to just cancel as and when necessary (in this case after 3 months)?
2. The cheapest at the moment looks like Lloyds TSB who quote me £360, but even though I intend to cancel after just 3 months, can I still claim the £120 cashback that Quidco are currently offering?
Thanks in advance!
Rich
