Be Aware of The Fuel Surcharge When Purchasing Infant Air Ticket

Airlines charge 10% of your fare price for infant under 2 years old, but watch out for the huge fuel surcharge , we have Just bought a Infant ticket from Cathay Pacific, it cost £282.60(in which £182.60 it's fuel surcharge) for my 8kgs baby girl with no seat....
let me know if you have a similar experience with other airlines, many thanks

I'd be very surprised if every airline doesn't do the same, the fuel surcharge has never been based on the weight of individual passengers.
