    My kids are teenagers but when they went to birthday parties i only spent £5 on a present and other parents did too or put £5 in a card.

    10 cards for £1 in Card factory . Stock up quick as they only put them out when nothing else is on like Valentines/mothers day etc. Big rolls of wrapping paper is also cheap there. Def re gift to.

    I've cute my food shopping in half recently relatively easily by getting a slow cooker. Cheaper cuts of meat and also an extra portion or 2 to freeze.

    FB selling pages are great for bargains and also selling unwanted items to make some cash.
