Banks will be adapting to the new responsible and affordable lending rules and regulations that are being introduced. Review of overdrafts on a regular basis is sure to take place going forward.

I've had a £4k overdraft facility for as long as I can remember. Used to get a phone call to discuss the renewal. Then just became a letter saying the facility had been extended for another 12 months. Be interesting later this year to see if Lloyds policy has changed.

Depends how much you actually use the overdraft.

If you use it, then you should be able to keep whatever you tend to use. If you don't use the overdraft at all, don't be surprised if it's either taken away altogether, or reduced as low as £200.

Very rarely on a temporary basis. So no loss to me these days.
