Leaving BG - Last bill/withdrawing credit

I recently switched from BG to EON, the switch has gone through however BG gave EON the wrong meter serial number so I'm just waiting for EON to correct the details they have.

Switch went through 31st Dec, BG still took their DD beginning of Jan as energy club told me not to cancel it til last bill.

Should BG automatically issue my final bill, or I do I need to phone up and request it and any remaining credit?

If it has any relevance, I've had a lot of problems with BG over the past few months and they have had to close and open numerous accounts because they messed up fitting the new smart meter. My online account is now showing as closed and in credit, however whenever I try to go into it I just get a blank white page with all the BG headings. When I go back to account overview it shows all my closed account with the message 'Sorry, our systems are currently unavailable. Please try again later.' at the top.
