Carnations

My carnations were still blooming when the first frost came, and they froze in flower and in bud. They're still sitting out there lol, all brown and disgusting. What should I do with them - should they be pruned in some way?

Prune them back to a healthy shoot, but wait till the frosts are over because you risk further damage. Unless they are scented earlies (will flower from late February) then lightly nip off the old flowers as and when.
