Quick, hopefully easy query, about PPI

Options
RBS sent me a letter this week regarding PPI and how to claim it back if I considered it mis-sold. They listed a loan agreement I had taken out in 2007. Does this mean there was definitely PPI attached to that loan (because I had no idea I had even paid it)?

If you are sent a CCL then it means you had PPI. it doesnt mean you were mis-sold or you have a case. The only criteria that exists for you to be sent a CCL is for you to have paid a PPI premium.

  • If it's any encouragement to you Luke, my husband received the same letter and had his claim dealt with very quickly, with a decent sum of money returned. He also had no idea he'd even had PPI in the first place.

    Good luck :)
