    The assessor made his decision entirely on Gpeol.

    He made no comment on the other grounds for appeal.

    It feels like a £100 win :beer:

    just received PPS "parking charge £130" in Didcot, opp' station. No previous demand received.
    Apparently boot of car overhung line on a Sunday.
    Tel call to them said they will revert in due course.
    What to do?

    yes called the number on the "parking charge" letter to say I had got no earlier notification. Date of incident 5 Jan (Sunday) Date of issue of letter 26 Feb. (received 10th March) .
    Told by " Michael" that I could not cantact PPS as it was now in hands of debt collection! He would revert in due course.

    The people who help out here know what they are talking about - PPCs and debt recovery just want your money.

    Then as one who knows, is there no legitimate way that these people can be prevented from intimidating people and tantamount to extorting cash? Has no-one ever taken them on?
