Smart Box Gift Voucher

Hi, my first time on here, sorry if this is posted in the wrong place!

Can anyone help? We were given a Smart Box gift voucher for Christmas 2012. We didn't manage to use it and it expired on 31.12.13

The company have now stopped the vouchers in the UK.

Does anyone know if we, or the purchaser, are entitled to a refund? The voucher is worth £90.
