Images on an iPAD

Hi

Hoping someone might be able to help.

Talkng to my friend just who's trying to view some images on a website. I can see them on my PC at work, and he can view them on his laptop too. However, when he tries to view them via his iPAD he can't. Can access the site ok, but where the images are meant to be there's just an empty box.

Does an iPAD have this functionality or is there something that needs amending within the settings?

Hoping for help - thanks in advance

Charlie

how are the images displayed on the website? are they just JPGs, or have they been put in to some sort of flash display?

    What is the website?
    1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
    2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
    3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?
  • Hi WTFH

My friend races pigeons as his hobby. It's www.painterpigeons.co.uk I've no idea as to whether some sort of flash display is used etc

The images are being displayed using a Flash plugin, and iPads don't support Flash.

    The joys of apple.

Actually you can view flash on ipad, just have to use a different browser, flash enabled browser.

Try installing photon brower or puffin brower
Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j

Huge thanks for this. My friend has downloaded the browser on his iphone and ipad and can now view the images on that website that he couldn't view before. I "think" he downloaded photon browser on his iphone and adobe on the ipad? But i'm not sure. He's sorted anyway. Thank you!! You gotta love MSE

Tell him to re-build it in HTML5, sadly flash is dead.

I don't think the OP's friends created the website - he was just trying to view the pictures on it.
