Upper Class Virgin - Worth it?

I did indeed mean the numpties who seem to want to get onboard as if they do not have an assigned seat. Calling rows 33-50 and you get people in rows 1-32 blocking the entrance. People seem to lose thier heads in airports.
I fly more often on easyjet and jet 2 so I have no issues flying cattle. My experience of UC were 2 trips out of probably 12-15 flights I have done over a 3-4 year period.
I also dont drive a 30k car (well it may have been when new but no more).
Having flown from BA,Emirates, Singapore, Virgin on long haul I know economy offers a good deal. If I could still maintain my standard of living, have a good holiday and afford a better class seat- I will take it.
When I was in chicago, I used priceline to bag my hotel for 50% of the costwhich had it not been for MSE would I have got that. The savings there alone were great.
When I had spent a few days in chicago and had to go to see my friend, i got the train rather than fly. Again saved around 200 dollars on this and got to see more of the country I would not have had I flown.
I set my budget for my holiday and work hard to plan an experience I will enjoy. Since doing the Ghan in australia, I have been hooked on seeing places by different modes of transport.
I have truly been lucky to see what I have seen and travelled as i have but I work hard, prioritise what I wanted to spend my money on and now I have a young family, are working to ensure they get toexperience these things also when they get old enough to remember.0 -
Ah yes, I see what you mean. Personally I'd prefer to wait till the end when there's no queue instead of having to barge past the numpties.
Yes, the American carriers look to be the main exception.

Never put the PJs on in case you return to the gate, or suffer an emergency upon take off. Better to wait till seat belt off in my opinion !!Legal team on standby0
