Im seeing a lot of the dvd reviws are foreign. In the spec says english, danish, dtch. The pics are foregin writing. For example disney's Ariel!
It must be watchable in English - but what about the covers - was going to buy some as gifts but would prefer it to be in english. Anyone noticed this and know what language they come in?!

I ordered some good children's ones such as Shaun the Sheep on pre release. Great for Christmas.

CD-Wow sells DVDs from all over the place, you do have to be careful that you're getting UK editions (if that's what you want - I've ordered the region 4 (Australia?) "Sin City Recut & Extended", which looks better than the UK standard release). :D

If the writing on the sleeve in the picture isn't English, it won't be English on the actual sleeve. Mind you, the contents of the DVD are likely to be identical. I got a German import of "Pitch Black" through the Hitflip free offer on this forum and while I can't read a word on the sleeve, the movie, all the extras and even the menus are in English. If you look on the back of most UK DVD releases you'll see they have multiple language soundtracks, I think the same discs get sold all over Europe with just the sleeves and disc labels printed in the local language.

Just log in to the Nectar website, go to the "Spend Points" tab and choose DVDs. All DVDs are half price in the offer week.

£5.97 at Amazon for this or £7 of nectar points (plus you'd have to find another few quid of sales for free delivery)

Some good DVD boxsets that seem cheap enough, but as Martin said in the top post use a price checking site to make sure you're getting a bargain.

    Cheers

I am been able to order anything today. I just get "An error as occured".

Hi, I was getting an error message each time I tried to add a 2nd item to my shopping trolley, and the checkout button wasn't working either. So I rang nectar on this number 0207 2096355 rather than their 0870 number.
I was told that I had opted to join their Christmas saver club so my account was locked and I couldn't redeem my points online. The kind lady on the phone unlocked my points for me and I was then able to order the dvds I wanted online.
I certainly don't remember joining any Christmas saver club! So maybe this has happened to you too. :)
