Iphone calendar sync problem

I have iphone and Ipad. On both devices in -settings-iCloud- I have the calendars button turned ON (green). However, my calendars are not syncing. I assumed that when I put an event on my Ipad, then it would show on my phone, but it doesn't. Any suggestions?

2. When you go into the Calendar, at the bottom of the screen click on Calendars.Is the All iCloud field ticked?1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?

Thanks wtfh. I did have the All icloud button ticked. However, I think I've sorted it. In the screen you mentioned above , the top field says " Show all Calendars. I had it on Hide all calendars. Changed it and Voila, it works. Thought I would share this if anyone else has the same problem.:smileyhea A SMILE COSTS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING0
