Slow down a bit - surely the GP explained what he referred her for and why? And if he didnt or she didn't hear what he was saying, I would have thought querying the service with the GP would be more sensible than googling.
Perhaps they have outpatient clinics and community services as well. And it's the GP's job to help your friend get better, after all, especially if there are services he thinks will help. Perhaps you'd be doing your friend a service by helping her to keep an open mind about what's on offer?

    It isn't an inpatient service.

They do a number of services, for both inpatients and outpatients. If there is no reason for your friend to receive inpatient care, then they won't - it is very expensive, and try as much as possible to keep people out of it.

Why would your friend refuse to seek treatment? If they did, this MAY go against them.

It's a none admission service. A good GP she has.

Also she's clearly not fine. She cannot work or go out. This needs addressing so she can have a life and return to work.

how long it take before they see her ? weeks months? she want cancel any appointment from them
  • She should accept the counselling, it will help her to get better. She is very lucky to be given the chance. Many people with mental health problems don't get any help.

As someone else has said, if she can't go out then she is not 'fine. She should take whatever help is offered.

In principle, refusing treatment that has been offered, that may help your condition - without good reason - may be taken into account as a reason not to get ESA.
