Hsbc loan - ppi claim

Today I called HSBC and asked for the details of all my old loans that have been closed with HSBC. They gave me sort codes and account numbers of all loans and confirmed that I paid PPI on all of them. They however could not confirm the loan amounts and dates they were opened as they were closed over 6 years ago.
Is there anything I can do to get the loan details/amounts and dates for these loans as I have all the sort code and acct numbers ????
HSBC have taken the details and will investigate for me and I am told I will receive a response in 8 weeks.
