Found pill in Princes Apple juice box

Looks like plastic to me too. Probably from some packaging process at the factory.0

It's taken on the colour of the apple juice but it most definitely isn't plastic. As I said it was much paler when it came out initially like it had been white and tinged beige by the juice. The consistency was mushy, part of the irregularity at the sides and on the bottom came from me pressing it. I haven't tried to crush or split it but I'm sure I wouldn't have any problems doing so.0

The photo looks like plastic, but ganache's earlier description of it doesn't sound like plastic.
Be interesting to find out what Princes' explanation eventually is. Though their 'testing' certainly won't be independent - but you don't have much choice if Environ Health won't deal with it. Though I'm surprised by that as finding out whether or not it's harmless should be first on their agenda.
Doesn't seem to me to be relevant which shop it was purchased from given that you are happy that it's seal was intact so not tampered with at a retailers level. I'd have thought the codes on the top would show Princes which plant handled the manufacturing, but I'm no expert!
Hope Princes give a prompt AND completely honest response.Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.0 -
OK, let's try again:
When did you first open the container?1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?0 -

Internal testing will have the advantage of that the correct people may no exactly what that is with in a second of looking at the item.0 -

Lets be honest here as jaques chirac has already said its concentrate. This would seem plausible as it was mushy when first came out of the box and has now solidified once more.Dont rock the boat

If concentrate generally comes in tablet form prior to reconstituting then it might well be that - but does it?
Otherwise it looks too manufactured to be an odd bit of concentrate.0 -

It sounds like Jaque knows what he is talking about.
If it is, Princess will know straight away and your unlikely to be the 1st person to have complained about it.
so my money would be on this.
However I guess its the waiting game for a few days / weeks.
Though please let us know as like other people on here I am curious to see what it is.0
