I ordered through Groupon a Christmas hamper from fineflora as a gift to be delivered on 21st December. I found out on Christmas Day that this was not delivered and the recipient was at home all day.
I contacted the supplier by e-mail on Christmas Day and received a reply 28th stating that they were sorry and could I confirm that the address was correct and that a card had been left by the courier.
I replied that same day explaining that the address was correct and that it included a postcode and that the recipient did not mention receiving a card, but i would check this and reply.
I received a reply on 3rd January listing the ‘tracking information’ and asking if they can resend the hamper and again asking if the address is correct.
According to the tracking information it appears that on 20th December the courier claimed that a time carded had been left. The recipient was not at home that day which is why I requested 21st as a delivery date as I knew that the recipient would be at home that day.
As this item was a Christmas Hamper, for a Christmas Gift and that Christmas is now well and truly over and the recipient is stating that they never received it, or a card to say a delivery had been attempted what are my rights for a full refund. On the website it states ‘no refunds given’.
The cost was £120 plus delivery, and I paid by visa.
Many thanks
