I personally think ebay should set max limit to 3 days. 10 days just has people all queuing up to bid at the last minute anyway. Normally if I see a 10 day listing I skip over it.

Thats a bit daft, as you may see an auction for the first time when it has 3 days left.

15 years of Ebaying have told me that for most items - the longer the auction the better chance of a sale - as more people see it.

I wish they would add 14 days - and allow us to set the day - eg 4, 5 , 6 etc - then we could make sure all out auctions end the same day - so less trips to the post office.

Im selling a load of stuff at the minute and if something gets a watcher, I put it on BIN. My latest auctions still have 2 and 3 days left to run and I've sold I think about 6 things out of 18 on BIN. I put a Superdry t-shirt up on Monday night about 11pm, it had sold by 9.30 am Tuesday on BIN. Ditto with a jumper I put up at the same time - sold by 9am Tuesday. I don't mind being asked for a BIN at all, sooner I can get shot of my stuff and get the cash the better! Post office is next door to the dr's where I seem to be spending half my life at the minute anyway so I can usually get them dispatched pretty quick as well.
