Open Post What can I do?

I've just got the christmass presents for my children through the post. As usual, the parcel has been "cut" (scissors??) to peep to know what is inside. I am absolutely fed up of having this situation every year. I have been several times to the post office to complain about it. What can I do??

I think it happens to everyone - I've had countless parcels delivered with holes in them where someones had a bit of a neb.!

You could use a different delivery service.
    1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
    2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
    3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?

My husband opened the door and as he was busy with something else he picked up quickly without checking and closed back again. If it was me I would have probably signed "received opened" or just refuse it for the same reason and go to the post office myself. I don't think they do anything just by complaining by word. I am so mad that I think I will write a written complain this time. The parcel doesn't have anything of value and there is nothing missing it is just the frustration that you pay for a service (it is NOT free, nobody is doing you a favour to believe that they have any right on it) there is nothing of value inside and nothing missing, it is just the cheekiness of CUT it with something sharp just to see if there is anything of value inside. Our parcels come COMPLETELY WRAPPED in THICK packaging cellotape, exactly to avoid this problem, but they have made the "effort" to cut through it. AAGGGHHH!!!

Instead of complaining to the Post Office, you could try complaining to Royal Mail.

I would be more annoyed that someone is sending your kids presents that are obviously not worth the postman stealing.

Its a very poor critique on the items if once opened they are still delivered!

You realise going to a Post Office is the wrong company?
