I can book the flight on the Thomsonfly website for £1032.64.
    I originally paid £956.
Thomsons ammendment team say it will cost me more than £500 EXTRA

If thats the case, cant you just get a refund of the original flights and book your new ones from Doncaster via Thomsonfly.Fair enough, an extra £80, but hardly life shattering

Unless its within 2 wks of departure, all you are entitled to is a refund anyway

Take the refund, book new flights, save £300.
