Personally I would say to enter comps as posted but give the posts a few minutes before you enter so any dupes are posted.
In the end it is a personal choice though :-)
I tend to be comping as posted but then mix them up via this to catch any biggies that are missed.

Thanks weeowens brilliant way of listing them. I have no idea how to do it though ?

Hi,sorry I'm not sure what you mean by "I have no idea how to do it though"

Another thought with end-dating, if you enter say 2 or 3 days before they close you would still need to keep checking recent ones for any new ones added that close quickly.

I do a bit of both.

I needed to claw back my time in the evenings, so during the advents I changed to subscribing to all threads I want to enter, and then on Saturday, enter all comps ending in the next 8 days (basically all comps ending on or before the following Sunday) and unsubscribing.

Then during the week I only actually spend time entering dailies and any new comps that end before the next Monday. So about 45 min or so, conservatively, depending on how good a day it is with interesting new comps.

I'll chip away at the end of month's throughout the month as I have time.

I do a bit of both too. I work through in order of listing date but I'm never up to date and can quite often be a week or two behind.

At the moment I'm still way back on those posted 23/12 (around page 100). Each morning before I do any of those I also double check those ending "today" just to be sure I don't miss anything. If I remember or have time I also recheck later in the day to catch any that have been posted for ending the same day (usually twitter ones).

Sorry I was a bit vague. I have managed to list in date order before (with help)
I was unsure how you had this list arranged in large prizes order.

Hi,in all honesty I cannot recall the exact origin of the link but I think was posted via another member or via MSE admin. When we had a discussion section update I asked that it be added as sticky here.

It's not so much in large prize order as such but they do tend to "float" to the top. It's more of what threads are getting "hit" on by MSE users,if that makes sense.

So it will show comps that are ending shortly but also the high value comps that gain prominence.

I hope that helps & good luck to you.;)
