84yrs old conned in Lanzarote

My 84yrs old father was conned in Lanzarote, he was on a cruise that stopped over in Arrecife, he had a walk into the town and went in a shop that sold Alcohol he was approached by a guy in there that persuaded him to buy a HD SD card for his cheap camera, the cost £50! the guy distracted him with a free gift of a bottle of brandy and a cheap hat and sunglasses, while my dad was entering his pin, he even had the cheek to take him for a small snack and drink. We got the credit card bill yesterday they had taken £500! spoke to the credit card company there is nothing they can do because he actually entered his pin without checking it. This is absolutely disgusting they obviously target older people passing through. I lost my mum recently they had been married 60yrs, this holiday was a treat for him, he and several others on the ship got robbed while there, this was 50 Euro's which was bad enough. This is a warning to everyone to be vigil.
