Capital One CCJ and some defaults

I have a Capital One CCJ on my credit file for just over £700, no one has pursued this debt since the CCJ was issued. I don't recall the time the CCJ was issued as i was at that moment in and out of hospital.
It's been just over years to be precise 4 years and 2 months. If i pay it off now will this remain on my file for 6 years?
I also have a few defaults ranging from £150 to £480 a couple i haven't acknowledged and some i have been paying on and on occasions missing payments on also.
If i pay them off will settled defaults at least look better? As i intend to hopefully get a mortgage in the next 3 or so years.
All defaults are at least 3 years old with 2 close to 4 and a half years old.

I'd assume that CCJs work similarly to defaults, in that 6 years from the date of issue they'd drop off the file.
Defaults drop off 6 years after the date of default, so you've a couple of years to go.
For the most part a default is a default, looks bad on file, whether settled or not.
Settled would at least be marginally better, especially if it closes the account.0 -
A CCJ is removed from your report 6 years from the judgement date, paid or not.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
