  • That's a good tip about the water proofing of cut fingers ubamother I cut my finger really badly the other week (bleeding HM bread!) and that would have helped.
Will keep the holey glove for my next accident :(

I have a dishwasher and I do some washing up by hand ...
    I wear rubber gloves ...
I use very hot water ...
After some time right handed glove gets hold in :( ... Being right handed!
Left handed glove becomes orphaned ... and ... get's chucked in the cupboard under the sink ...

Now ... Is any one else as daft as me to keep it and not throw it away?
And any idea's what I can do with the many spares under there!!

Answers on a pretty postcard please! :j

    Hi

With gloves it's usually the the right one that gets a hole. I keep the left ones in a cupboard. Sometimes I get a hole in the left hand and use the spares. It's not daft it's practical.:):)

I used to keep mine as well, turn a left handed glove inside out, it becomes right handed, thus you have a pair :money:

I got through loads before I discovered Marrigolds (yes I know they've been around for rather along time), I've had the same pair for about a month now, which is ages for me, I can assure you. :D

Ah you see I have a stash from 8 years. And as far as I know I have only had a hole in the left once! lol. So you can imagine how big the pile is. Should go through them but don't wanna throw away if there is some other genious thing out there I can use them for.

I found your thread Sis. Orphaned rubber gloves, tee hee hee! I think everything gets 're-housed' under the sink, the cupboard contains everything but the actual sink (well, it has the underside)xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
