Asda Christmas Bonus Card

After deciding to try to spread the cost of next Christmas a little I've been looking at getting a savings booklet/card. I read the article on here about the Asda Christmas savings card and went to the website to apply. I had to register and did that. Then filled in all my info, added a card to my basket with £2 to start my weekly £2 savings. Then I clicked checkout and had to put all my details in again (annoying) and clicked next to go to the shipping page where it gives you the option of standard delivery at £2.75 or special delivery for £5.54!
What's the point of giving you £3 if you save £97 if they have most of it off you as postage in the first place? If you only save £49 you're down £1.75. Yes I know that I can collect in store but I think it's a bit silly that they charge that much in the first place and give no option to collect in store. I'm sure it could be less postage. It doesn't cost that much to post a card and if they can send me all the leaflets etc for nothing, I'm sure they could stretch to sending a savings card that I will be spending with them for nothing too! :mad:
I haven't got tons of cards but those I have had, tesco clubcard, iceland bonus, boots advantage, etc, have all sent them out for nothing.
Boo Asda!

what you could do of course is save the money in a savings account then before the cut off date, transfer it to the asda card , pick up the asda card from store (having received your bonus) and then spend the money.
So not only do you get the bonus but you get interest on the money throughout the year as well2014 Target;

In the email last week it mentioned the Asda Christmas Savings Card again:
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/extra-christmas-cash#asda
It says on this site that "Add credit by 5pm on Sat 15 Nov and the bonus will arrive at 8am on Sun 16 Nov."
I did exactly that, with £144, but just logged in now and no sign of any bonus?Anyone else received (or not received) their bonus?
