Kitchen on a budget

I'd be grateful if you could give me any links to negative reviews for !!!!!!!! kitchens as I had a kitchen designer from Stil haus round today and have just given him £100 deposit. I did a google search for reviews before he came and could only find one website with a couple of negative reviews but lots of sites with positive reviews. However, the thing that is worrying me now is that the paperwork the designer left is all in the name of 'Kitchen Design Lancashire' NOT !!!!!!!!. Sorry if this is sidetracking your thread a little but, as you mentioned !!!!!!!!, I'd be grateful for any information you have about them.
Hi Nenan..
I have sent you a PM.0 -

You should be..
Stay well away if you ever want a whole completed fitted kitchen!0 -

We are looking to buy a New Kitchen From Ikea. Would like your views before we buy.Are they reasonable priced,Also are the units good.
Thank You.0 -
Not been on here in a couple of months, there goes my free time once again!

We eventually bought a kitchen from IKEA, one of the new METOD ones. The staff done a great job of building it online with our measurements and I've got to be honest we found it really easy to build and fit. I got a plumber to redo all our pipes in the kitchen and fit the sink/hob which cost us £300, a joiner fitted the worktops for £150.0 -
I had my first kitchen from b&q and it broke very quickly, hinges fell off within 3 months. The staff were really unhelpful. My current kitchen is an Ikea kitchen and I have nothing but praise for it. The staff are really helpful. I went in on a busy day and I had to wait a bit but the staff set me up then came back to finish it off they were not pushy sales people and gave me load of types to save money, space and things that places like wicks and Homebase didn't. I have now moved and will only use Ikea the new kitchens look even better. I have booked an appointment with my local store and can not wait to get my new kitchen.0

We have just had an Ikea Metod system kitchen fitted (we went for the Kroktorp style doors etc). We used their interest free over 2 years option, and for simplicity (and come back if any issues) we used their own installers (which was also included in the interest free). They had to cut out for the pipe work on the unit backs, but did an excellent job of it. We also used Ikeas own kitchen planner (for £50) which took a lot of the hassle out of it.
We have been very pleased with the whole process and would strongly recommend them. The installers were quick, happy to do little extras (like boxing in exposed radiator pipes etc) and cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. We kept our old integrated oven and dishwasher as they were perfectly good, and just opted for a new hob and extractor to save money. The main reason we chose ikea was the 25 year guarantee and the ease of swapping cupboard doors and fronts at a later date should we get bored.0 -
We have our ikea kitchen coming in the 15th I can't wait, we plumped for the metod bodbyn ( grey) kitchen with karley worktops ( wood topped) can't comment on fitting or quality as yet obviously but price wise they were brilliant spent £2000 for all units /taps/ sink and a dishwasher ..we have rebuilt or kitchen back to brick damp proofed ( old victorian house) so pipe work and sockets should accommodate the new kitchen nicely .. Will update when we have installed ..
Does anyone have any pics of ikea kitchens out of interest( and the fact I have no life apart from renovating this house haha)0 -
Can I ask those who have had an Ikea kitchen how much the fitting has cost, and whether you went through Ikea fitters or an independent?
Thanks!0
