My six and half year old doesn't cry, he never has done since he was a baby. He will make crying noises but never any tears. Is anyone elses child the same?
I have never really thought much about it, he has always been that way but tonight when he was having one of his tantrums in which he gets really angry stamps his feet, stomps round the house etc I wondered if this had anything to do with it, if he could cry would that let out his frustration? maybe he has the tantrums as that is his only way of letting out frustration?
Or maybe I am making excuses for him?

My son has never cried either......he's 20! Mentioned it to the Drs over the years, but no one was ever concerned. As a result I've always made sure he had his eyes tested regularly too.I will escape the big bog that is my debt!

My nearly 14yo son doesn't either, never has. Other than the frustration when he was younger when others would tell me 'he's not really upset/hurt, there's no tears' never caused any problems.0

Thanks everyone, good to know he isn't the only one. He has had his eyes tested and they are ok.
Spendless - I have the same issue with the teachers I am always hearing "its ok, he didn't cry!"
He fell when he was younger and had to have the cut glued, it must have hurt, he screamed but he didn't cry then either.0 -
I'm just wondering if there's anything wrong with his tear ducts. Does his eyes water in other situations, like when he has a cold, or when he's been out in the cold weather, or when he's had something in his eye?
