OP, could you not suggest to TKMax, and all other retail outlets attached to the car park, that such enthusiastic ticketing of their customers is likely to impinge on their profitability, and that you will not be shopping with them again. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

I will be watching this thread with interest! I've got a ticket too! Not from the area, nipped in to Next, knew I would be less than half and hour! The signs are there but they are not clear. they state, first two hours free with valid PAY and go ticket. I was not staying anywhere near two hours so had no reason to PAY!0

You would learn more just by searching this forum for 'UKPC Scotland' and reading all the other threads too. You don't need to watch a thread about the same car park - the advice is the same throughout Scotland and loads has been said (no need to cover it all again here). A search will reveal all.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just received yet another letter from UKPC after the threat to take me to court, which I ignored they have now passed the "debt" on to Zenith Collections at a reduced rate of £80 from £160 or they will take legal actions to recover the "DEBT"
This will be filed along with the rest of the paperwork and if anybody from zenith is reading this let me save you waiting the fourteen days notice...I am not paying a penny if you want to go to court bring it on0 -
They usually stop sending these letters after 5 or 6 at the most.
Unless you enter into correspondence with them.
Even phoning them and saying you have no intention of paying will bring a few more before they give up.
If they don't know who the driver was - they have no option but to give up.
They operate entirely on the principal that enough people will waver a little in the face of all the rubbish they send and pay up.
They cannot do what they threaten - all the cr*p consequences about court judgements and bad credit ratings is exactly that - cr*p.
They could take the driver to court - but that has never happened yet.0 -

Please be fair - this is Magic Numbers' own thread about their case.
Like everyone else on any parking ticket forum you'd need your own thread if you haven't found your answers after you have read the info in the sticky thread 'Private Parking ticket, old or new? Newbies read these FAQs first!'PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I received one of these tickets in August 2013 at Gallacher Retail Park, Dundee. After 'googling' for advice I chose not to react to any correspondence regarding the fine. I received several letters requesting payment which I ignored. The 'debt' was then passed over to a debt collection agency whose letters threatened 'county court' action and also stated that my credit rating could be affected etc. I continued not to respond to the threats/letters. No legal correspondence has been delivered through my letter box. In fact I have not heard anything for the last three months so I am presuming that the original advice to ignore is correct but it would seem only to those who are in Scotland.0
