Running advice please!

My fave distance is a 10k. You can easily do it! I find that a lot of running is mind over matter. I've one a few 10k and a half marathon & I love the Manchester 10k in May. Fast, flat & very very friendly!0

I agree with this statement. Although twice the distance, the 10k is nowhere near twice as hard. In fact I don't even think you need to build up to it from the 5k(although it will help). Just reduce your pace from what you normally do for the 5k and you will get there.powered_by_cheesecake wrote: »If you can run a 5k easy then its not a massive step up to run a 10k. Add half a mile each week and you'll be able to run it fine. Just believe in your training0 -

Have a look on the NHS website
There are some plans on there.
