I normally use my company Dell laptop connected connected to adsl via a linksys wifi router.
I also have a very old Compaq laptop running windows 98 which I would like to connect to the router with a cable so that my wife can keep up with her email when I am away form home. The Compaq does not have an ethernet port. Is there a cable which will connect to the router through the USB1 port or any other way?

Another alternative is a Wireless PC card or Wireless USB adapter.0
