Help with a Savings Interest Calculator template

I was wondering if there was a kind soul could point me in the right direction or create a template I could use to show expected interest that I get from my monthly savers.
Something similar to these:
http://templates.openoffice.org/en/template/savings-interest-calculator
http://templates.openoffice.org/en/template/savings-calculator
But I need it to be for 1 year and the monthly deposits are not always the same. Interest rates of 2%, 3.5% and 5% at the moment.
I use open office calc but don't really know how to create the template.
