I have Windows 7. Do I need to download AVG?

AVG is one option of many. I use AVG.
I tried using Avast but I got my first ever blue screen since installing Windows 7 during the installation process. Thought sod it and stuck with AVG.What will your verse be?

OK, You are using windows 7
Do I presume you have no internet/anti-virus security product running on your PC at all?
AVG is just one of the many free to personal users security products available
AVAST is another
MS has another (defender? I think its called)
Then there are the 'paid for' ones like Norton and Kaspersky plus others etc.
You are about to get as many opinions on the pros and cons of each one as people have opinions on different makes of cars.
So yes you really should have some security product on your PC, but AVG is just one options you might choose.0 -
