How do I run 2 tabs?
Comments

It could also be in the last but one quote above that he might want to run two browsers at the same time, side by side, not necessarily two tabs. Old desktop I used to do that, run something in one browser window, with another separate browser window right next to it, both taking up full desktop space. This current OP refers to tabs specifically, but that older one sounds more like two physical browser windows, rather than two tabs running together. If the OP means In the double windows case, Control (ctrl) and N will open an extra browser window.0

I checked back on the poster's name quite simply because I thought the question seemed so simple to answer that it might be somebody just playing around. Browser Tabs are common in every browser and it would be unusual to forget how to use them, don't you think?0

Does it really matter? Someone asked a question and received a few replies. It's no hardship to type a few lines in response to someone, takes literally seconds.
The answer to a question is only simple when you actually know the answer. No question is too stupid.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
The point, surely, isn't the simplicity of the question but the fact that the same poster has asked this question in the past?~Chameleon~ wrote: »The answer to a question is only simple when you actually know the answer. No question is too stupid.
It's good that the forum gives honest advice and opinion to anyone who asks and, as you say, no question should be treated with contempt because it is too "simple".
However, in this case, the poster who checked the OP's history had his suspicions confirmed and I see nothing wrong with his actions.0 -

Perhaps the poster suffers amnesia or hasn't had use of a PC/laptop recently. A quick look at their posting history indicates they're not very tech savvy and appear to have been using an iPad more recently.
I still fail to understand why anyone would have an issue over them asking the same question for a second time, and moreso why they felt the need to corroborate their "suspicions" by searching the poster's history. All rather odd IMO and smacks of the growing vigilante style of posters that seem to be frequenting this site more and more.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
There are plenty of trolls on the internet (not that the OP seems to be one) and it often pays dividends to search posting history when "suspicious" comments are posted.~Chameleon~ wrote: »I still fail to understand why anyone would have an issue over them asking the same question for a second time, and moreso why they felt the need to corroborate their "suspicions" by searching the poster's history.
Personally, I think this is just a wise precaution-not an attempt to be a forum "vigilante". I wouldn't have posted about it myself, though.0 -

I'm well aware of trolls, there are plenty of them on this forum! But this was such a simple innocuous question I fail to see why anyone would bother to even check. If they were asking for duplicitous advice or in any way trying to deceive people then that's a different matter.
It actually says more about the poster who felt the need to check the OP's posting history than the OP themselves
