In all seriousness, any game that you want to enjoy will take longer than that so try and think of a plan that doesn't put so much time pressure on yourself.
He could always buy it again after returning it, and return it after another 7 days...

    Why buy anything?

Need to wash clothes? Just go get a washing machine then return it after 7 days.

Need to watch an episode of Eastenders? Go buy a telly and return it when you're done.

I googled around and found exactly what i needed. No i will not be returning the hdmi to vga adaptor since i couldn't find one in the pawn shops and places like maplin and curry's are too pricey so i bought of amazon for half the price. Of course i might not get the adaptor til 16th at the very latest which pushes back when i can actually buy the console.

If it wasn't for PS4 coming out i might of kept it but the price will only drop to nothing id have to scrap it and i hate throwing good stuff out.

That would be a thought rebuying the PS3 if the game lasted longer than expected but i can't be the only one that sinks 3-4 hours easy in a new game can i? Id have to buy from another place just so it doesn't look like im free loading.

I don't think the price will "drop to nothing" as the PS3 has so many quality games, plus more due (incl Destiny, one of the more eagerly anticipated games coming up), plus its still an awesome BluRay player and general entertainment hub (iplayer, Netflix, etc). The only reason you'd have to scrap it is if you chose to!

As for The Last Of Us, my playthrough on normal lasted I think 15 hours with stuff still to find.
  • I took around 20 hours on my play-through although I was pretty slow. It's a superb game and exactly the reason I (re-)bought a PS3.

Whilst you have it I strongly recommend dark souls, it's very tough but rewarding.

Enjoy the last of us, best thing I have played on a console since jet set willy.
