Buying PS3 only to give back for refund Q's

Options
I want to buy the PS3 as there are a couple of games i would like to play on it that i can't find on the PC. I was reading the terms and cons of cash converters policy and im pretty sure i have a 7 day cool off period from buying the console to being able to return the thing without issue.

I just want to make sure there isn't any problem with this and i wont have any nasty surprises.

Thanks.

So you want to buy it, play the games within 7 days then take them back for a refund? They have the games you want in cash converters too? If you buy them from anywhere else you won't get a refund.

You know what would be easier than all of that? Watch full walkthroughs of the games on YouTube!!!

Why would you want to do that ?

So that he can hammer a load of games he wants to play wiithout having to spend a penny.
  • Buy a cheapie one off gumtree/amazon and then flog it on in the same manner when you are done with it. Then you don't have to worry about the 7 day issue.

I bought a cheap second hand refurb PS3 from Game a few months back, I buy all my games second-hand off amazon and sell them on for usually around the same price. Aside from a few fees etc it is generally cost free gaming as long as you are not impatient enough to have to have brand new games on release day.

I fully recommend playing dark souls on the ps3 - it'll take you longer than a week to get through. In all seriousness, any game that you want to enjoy will take longer than that so try and think of a plan that doesn't put so much time pressure on yourself.

I want to play "the last of us" its sony exclusive and PS4 will not be compatible with any ps3 games. I don't even like game pad controls, mouse and keyboard go a lot smoother. Willing to make an exception to have a go playing this game though. Its coming toward the end of the tax year and i need to take some built up annual so have some time to kill.

Would the console connect with a PC monitor, if not what connection am i looking to need?

Depends on your PC monitor, if it has HDMI input you're laughing, if not you'll need a cable.

What connections does your monitor have?

Are you wanting to buy and own the cable, or will you be returning it too?
    1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
    2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
    3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?
