ADVICE PLEASE regarding DLA and tax

Hi, My son has been awarded HRC and LRM [he's 6]. I found out last week but the award is from the 30th of Oct 2013.

So I called Working tax credits to inform them.

Now I didn't think to call Child tax credits, do I need to inform these too? or will the working tax credit pass that information on?

Also is there anything else I should be aware of please?

Is it the case for all that either your working tax credit or child tax credit goes up for higher rate of DLA?

Advice very much appreciated

:)
The day I had my Beautiful son is the day everything came together for me. For someone so small he done so much and made me complete.
