Scotland and the UK get their first-ever 80s festival with Retrofest at Culzean Castle, Ayr on September 1 and 2. The Human League, Bananarama, ABC, Tony Hadley, Howard Jones, Jimmy Somerville, Kajagoogoo, The Blockheads, Go West, Hue and Cry, Hazel O'Connor, The Silencers, The Beat, Cutting Crew, Kid Creole & the Coconuts and Four Good Men (ex-Simple Minds/H20)are amongst the acts announced to date for the event.
And with the first acts on stage at 2pm and the last act not leaving until 11pm, it's two full packed days of classic songs from a classic decade. There's also a new talent tent and an 80s disco tent as well as the usual facilities.
It's just 10 minutes from Prestwick Airport and 30 mins from Glasgow and there are 2 pairs of tickets to be won to the even.
