Deleting Temp files

Hi On XP if you type something??temp something?? in the search prog. files it brings up all the temp files
But what is the something as I cant remember also would downloading and running ccleaner do the same job?

CCleaner will remove temp as well as gigabytes of other unneeded files.What will your verse be?

I think the OP means to go into a Command Prompt window and do
dir c:\*.tmp /s
to list all the TMP files on the C: drive.
If you want to delete all the TMP files which are not in use, replace "dir" with "del".
There's probably little point doing this any more frequently than every few months, because they usually aren't big, and they'll be recreated anyway!
Be VERY CAREFUL to check what you type...0
