What counts as a flat roof on house insurance?

Hi, might be a stupid question but I insured my flat as 0% flat roof as always but now with the bad weather I need to claim as water has got Inbetween the porch roof (which is flat)and house, it's such a small part of the flat and I just assumed when they asked about the roof it was the one on the top of the flat, and now I'm worried they will invalidate my insurance?
What counts as a flat roof? Should I have disclosed this when I took out the policy?
Thanks in advance

Any part of a roof that isnt pitched to some degree.
You probably should have declared it. How much damage has it done? Worth paying for it yourself and change insurer at renewal and declare it?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
It's the size of a single bed at most so didn't occur to me!!
I don't know if they will personally come around and check it's fully flat?!
May look like I will have to pay out :-(0
