They send you an email with a reference number, You buy the TV at full price. When it arrives and you are happy with it, you send them your order number by replying to their email and they refund the difference via the payment method you used.

Just got email from JL... Exactly as mike j says and then u have the 5 year JL guarantee. Result!

TV arrived. Setup very easy (dont setup wifi when TV does auto setup and then go back in and use Assisted setup). First ever backlit TV and still getting use to the change in lighting with the picture. Sound is perfectly acceptable (even played some songs on USB stick). Navigation is a little sluggish but I done have the "speed up" option activated. Dont know if this will affect it. Have connected to my Blinkbox account and that works well. You can add other TV services to the menu but I havent worked that one out yet. And.....I have downloaded the app onto my Samsung tablet so I dont need to squint to see the button when OH is sleeping and the lights are off.

All in all, very happy with it. Would I pay the JL £420 price.....no. But for £250 (even without the 5year warranty) it competes with the other wifi TVs around that price.
