Credit File Errors

I have been getting letters from a debt collection agency for a debt that has nothing to do with me. I checked my credit file and there are defaults on there regarding this debt, I have raised a dispute with the credit file people and also written to the credit company.
What concerns me the most is that on my credit file there are several bank accounts and credit card details of this other person, If I can see theirs on my file will all my details be on their credit file too and if so is this a breach of data protection?

Shouldn't be as it should just be the accounts that are wrongly linked to your credit file, not their actual report. If credit file were linked via an association you would see one of those reported on your file as well.
